Diesel particulate filter (DPF)

Diesel particulate filter (DPF) and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) are an important part of diesel engine emissions system. DOCs reduce harmful emissions by converting CO and CH into CO2 and water, when it was coated with precious metal catalyst. DPFs uses its wall-flow to remove any remaining diesel particulate matter(PM) or soot that the DOC could not oxidize.

DOC is made by cordierite, Diesel particulate filter (DPF) can be made by cordierite or silicon carbide. Also have round/oval/square shapes etc.

Catalytic converters

Catalytic converter is a marvel of chemistry and engineering. It uses a chamber called a catalyst to change the harmful compounds from an engine’s emissions into safe gases, like steam and CO2. It works to split up the unsafe molecules in the gases that a car produces before they get released into the air. The process is a complex combination of substrate (ceramic & metallic) and precious metal catalyst (Pt/Pd/Rh), our technician has rich experience in this field.

VOC catalyst

VOC catalyst(AX-A) uses cordierite honeycomb ceramics as substrate, with Ti and Ce oxides, and precious metals Pd and Pt as active components. Using high-efficiency coating technology, the active components are evenly distributed on the carrier to achieve precious metal reduction and performance. It is a new type of high-efficiency organic exhaust gas catalyst.

VOC catalyst(AX-B) uses cordierite honeycomb ceramics as substrate, oxides composed of La-Ce-Zr as coating materials, rare earth metals and transition metals as the main active components. it has low-cost, high-efficiency removal of organic waste gas purification effect

Substrate

Ceramic Substrate is made of cordierite, and extruded honeycomb monoliths containing thousands of parallel channels
